Nada on Eve. All presents appeared on a.m. of the 25th from Santa.
Knew some Baptists who did Santa on Eve. Compared notes and started figuring it was all bullshite.

We opened wrapped presents from mom and dad on Christmas eve. Christmas morning, we woke up to our stuff from Santa.
Yeah me too. I don't see what's so hard to figure out.

No, my dad has a Master's in Physics and worked for US Dept of the Interior/US Geological Survey/Minerals Management and, early in his career, for oil companies as a Geophysicist.
In fact, he had his Master's Degree at the age of 21.
We just did Christmas on Christmas Eve.

My parents always let me open a few up the night before. Those were presents from my parents. The Santa presents come in the morning

My maw maw would let us go out to carabella's or bourbon hall in downtown berry to do some shots and pick up skanks after we had the Christmas Eve gift exchange. Santa Claus would come early the next day.

My wife grew up with this tradition (and it in turn is continuing at our house). None of santas presents are wrapped. They are set out in the living room grouped according to who they belong too. A few presents under the tree from us to them were put there a few days early.
My family was different. Everything was wrapped. Everything was under the tree a few days early except our "big" present. Santa brought that Christmas Eve and it was under the tree. Always the last thing to get unwrapped.
My wife's tradition seems kind of weird to me. Anyone else have a similar tradition? She is from Georgia and they do a lot of things differently over there.

Our city was one of Santa's first stops (yes, we believed them when they told us that). We would go out driving around and looking at Christmas lights.
When we got back home about 9 PM, all the presents would be there.
