I'm old school rite 1 Episcopalian. I tend not to go on Easter Sunday because of the crowd. However, I never miss a Good Friday service. That's one that will shake you up. Next Easter season, I highly recommend finding an Episcopal Good Friday service.

Oh, I did yard work.

Didn't go but watched a couple episodes on HLN about the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

I am in the same boat. I like the routine. I am not sure what I believe, but going to church does my mind some good.

Yeah. I get a lot out of it even though I don't buy into the whole thing. Lots of friends, activities for the kids, that sort of stuff. My family knows my views but I don't push them on them. Life is too short.

No, Jesus said He had sheep that were not of this flock. Most people assume He meant the Gentiles but that's an assumption.

Mormonism would benefit from such a discovery.

I don't live there - my younger sister (no pics) and her husband and my nephews do.

The whole place is usually calm and unpretentious. I've caught some nice sized bass from their back yard drinking beer.

Today wasn't that type of day at the club house for brunch.

I wish my two adult children and a few friends a happy Easter.

I haven't been a regular church goer since the divorce ten years ago.

I actually went to church today for the first time ina few months, picked up Popeyes on the way home, had a financial discussion with my wife, drank more beer, went to the neighbors for a crawfish boil, swam in my pool, a few Rum drinks, shower and now wine.

Typical Spring Sunday without a baseball tournament

Not really my way but my insurer seems indifferent and the other truculent. Even our primary care physician wants money upfront to quarterback our follow up care refusing to take our insurance.

Way above my patience level and legal savy. I hired us an attorney to deal with it. Don't know about a payday but I want us made whole insofar as that is possible.

Not Christianity particularly. Scripture deals with humankind's plight on this planet and the Almighty's intervention. They are silent respecting other planets and life on those planets. Interestingly, C.S. Lewis addressed your point in his Space Trilogy and a few essays.

Yeah, me too. Lewis didn't take on Mars probably because Venus fit his allegories better-although The God of War makes a brief appatence in the third book of the series. The first book deals with space travel to the Moon and the second Venus. The third has the protagonist back on earth in the middle of a modern retelling of the Arthur - Merlin legends linking all three books in the denouement.
