You guys are free to give advice. I just treat it the same way I would treat dating advice from a 30 yo virgin who's never had a girlfriend.

Then date her.... That way you do all those things, and if in 10 years you want to move on it is an easy see you later....
I just dont see any logic on being married if you dont want kids.
Why does getting married prevent this? If you're going to be with someone for 10 years shouldn't you get the tax benefits? Hell, what about health insurance benefits
If the only thing keeping you in your marriage is your kids, well that sounds pretty shitty to me

There is a comedian with a bit on this.
You know when a QB r pilot messes up like you know when a parent would.

I think you missed the point here.

I mean of course there's leeway. There is with anything.
But if it's something like installing a car seat correctly, or not letting your kid be an absolute douche bag in a restaurant, etc, you don't need experience to say you're doing it wrong.

Yeah I've heard that bit. It was a heckler giving him shite and he went off on her.

Thats what this whole thing we call reality has been about - its culmination is your weak little coddled life where you get to be happy and content without any responsibility but to make sure you stay happy and content. Your ancestors traversed oceans, survived the Black Plague, and killed others so you could watch Gilmore Girls and eat ice cream straight from the box.
I'm in the military and I don't want kids so your argument is complete nonsense. I would gladly go to war and fight for the continuity of our country and our way of life. Think before you type stupid bullshite like this in the future.

It would be like taking dating advice from this

Experience. It really is no different than anything else in life
A person can have zero experience at anything in life and give good advice on that thing. I have never flown a plane, but I can tell you some really bad ways to do it based on observation. Is there a limit to that good advice? Sure.
But to say that someone with no children can't give good advice on children is absurd. Which is what the initial poster said.

Exactly.
No one is saying you should go to your childless friend for all of your child rearing advice needs.

Maybe. But they have no credibility.
I could give QB advise to Aaron Rodgers and be right one out of ten tips. He's not going to listen to me though

Why would that be a bad thing? Maybe he has great advice but is poor at executing that advice.
His reasoning would either be good or bad. If he gave me advice, then fixed himself up and landed in a good relationship, then offered the same advice, it wouldn't then be better advice.

You don't have to. They usually come to you.

That's to his detriment.

You wouldn't listen to him, for good reason.

And if you're right 9/10 he'd listen regardless of whether or not you've ever played a down of football.

This is why dating women with children is difficult.
She could be setting the kid on fire, but if you say one word it's, "You're not a parent, so you don't know what you're talking about!"

There are many reasons why. And you should never do it.

He wouldn't listen at all. I'd have no credibility.
