I'd love to see your expenses. I promise there is some waste in there way above the $100 you are "saving" that could probably save you a lot more money.

There is waste. I just don't see paying for Amazon Prime as a necessity.

That would drive me crazy going that but hey do what you got to do. I ain't going to hate on somebody for trying to save money.

I mean creating a new email every month. Ugh.

I was coming to agree, but only because the 2 day guarantee seems to have faded away. That was the main reason I have it.

They certainly have more things that are not deliver in 2 days but I have been getting same day stuff for free. Its pretty fricking awesome. There is a major distribution center not to far from my house though.

The amount of time you spend just canceling, then re-entering all of your information back into Amazon, etc. probably comes out to being a lot more time spent than money saved.

I mean, if this is your thing, congrats, but it's a waste of time that could be spent doing other things that are more worth it.

I'm sweating it big time over some presents that I have to have by Saturday. They were ordered Prime, 2 day shipping, last week. From what I can tell, they're stuck somewhere at the new Baton Rouge terminal. I'm screwed if they don't come by tomorrow, over a week after they were ordered Prime....
Just got off the phone with Amazon as I’m in a very similar situation. Not sure if I’ll get my order in time, but Amazon credited my account for the order. Silver lining

They will probably hook you up with some free months.

They make a note on your account when they do this. You can only get that done once or twice a year. They did give me $10 off of an item for it being late though

I do have free time at my job to do this. If I have to be at work I might as well do something productive.

ople that pay for Amazon Prime are stupidYou can cancel at anytime and get the full 30 days. All you have to do is register a new email address with the same credit card number when the 30 days are up. Plus they give you an extra $10 each time you create an account if you order something through your phone app

It sounds like Dollar General might be more in your price range for buying goods

I get 5% back on my Amazon card because I have prime. It pays for itself and more. Sorry you're too poor to afford free.

Yeah. I'm more concerned with Chase Sapphire cards when they were hooking us up with $1500 in travel credits.
