I don’t fault people for this.

Most people who don’t know time zones with quickness didn’t grow up watching sports. Lot of people don’t realize the advantage that gives you. It gets lodged into your brain when you’re ten years old.

If you aren’t a sport fan and you grew up before or during the rise of the internet, there really wasn’t a big reason to understand time zones. I don’t fault them.

I'm still messed up when I look up a game on the ESPN app to see what time it comes on with the fact they automatically show most as your current time zone. Have had to catch myself several times double checking it on other sites because my mind immediately converted it to ET and I was wondering why the game I wanted wasn't on and the game before it was still in the 3rd quarter.

That’s why I send everything in hours MGT. Let people figure it out themselves.

The whole world should just be on one time zone tbh.

It’s way too inconvenient to change over for that ever to happen, obviously. But we don’t track time by daylight anymore the way we did when we first devised time zones. In a world where the clocks are digitally synchronized to the microsecond and time isn’t measured by the position of the sun, there’s no benefit to the current system beyond avoiding the costs of change. Unfortunately those costs are somewhat significant so we’ll be stuck converting time zones til we die lol.
