I was invited to Paula's wedding in Hawaii 40 years ago when I went to the LSU v. USC game in L.A. and stayed with one of her backup singers that I had dated. Didn't go. Had a ton of work waiting for me, and after spending the week in L.A. with this chick I preferred to make some money rather than blow more on a trip to Hawaii.
