Wonder how you go about getting an ROV job on a vessel like that. That would be so much more interesting than flying around in oil fields.

random events attributed to big person in.sky is not my go to explanation.

Where was big guy at antietam?
Why was Nagasaki necessary?

Two of my male relatives were killed by Nazis in what is now Belarus. My grandmother and her older sister got out.
Gods hand or just two girls with courage and intelligence to leave once the Russians took over.

As the grandson of a Naval pilot that was on the Hornet during the battle of Midway, this is really big news for my family. He told stories about flying back during the battle and not being able to land.

He’s been in the Cabo area (Medano Beach) several times. His yacht is fricking massive and you get to see it anchored next to a cruise ship.

He’s a baller.

Oh God you are so smart because you are not religious.

I wish I was that smart.

Oh wait, I am, I am just not an a-hole that has to crow about it at every single fricking opportunity.

Explosive decompression in space is presented pretty regularly in sci-fi, but it's a walk in the park to it's wicked brother, high pressure implosion. A hairline failure in the bulkhead at those depths for only a few milliseconds would superheat the air, currently at a relaxing 1atm, and vaporize everything. You would be a vapor before your neurons even had time to shite it's collective mind. This is then followed by a process akin to a star collapsing to form a black hole.

EDIT: Does anyone know of any research/experiments that were conducted with exposing lifeforms, like a pig, adapted for 1atm to the immense pressure at such depths? I know it's morbid, but to try and film and document this process of instantaneous superheating of the air followed by extreme compression would be interesting to see.

Go post this in that dudes I'm high as hell on edibles thread.
