That's pretty much what I said. People look for reasons and need some type of reason to justify to themselves that there was at least a reason for these acts, but the world is filled with people who isn't wired to abide by the norms of society.

Exactly. I think people want to have something to blame and a problem to fix to achieve some kind of justice. Sometimes, there just isn't any to be had. A lot of people are dead and the man who committed the act is dead. Sometimes, there are no happy endings.

I don't know much about Pat Robertson, but I can't disagree with anything this article quotes him as saying. It doesn't appear he is saying the shootings happened because people disrespect the country and the flag. He seems to be saying the shootings, and disrespect for authority, and the country, are a result of mankind turning from God's Truths.
Don't know about you, but it's kind of hard for me not to notice the evil that holds sway these days over our planet. And it seems to be growing. Anyone not acknowledging this is in denial.
For you to ridicule, denigrate or discount his beliefs, makes you appear intolerant and closed-minded. Oh, and Raw Story is a leftist media site, with a progressive agenda.
