Had partial knee replacement on the 19th on my right knee...for anyone else who had this procedure done how long did it take for you to get full range of motion back and get back to work...

I had bilateral total knees done last summer, took over a year for a decent range of motion. Don’t think I’ll ever get full range….

I had total robotic knee replacement 5 years ago. I did all of the physical therapy and had full range of motion in 8 weeks. No problems since.
I had total ball and socket shoulder replacement in 2016 and it was a bit longer rehab but full range of motion after about 12 weeks. Will have the other shoulder done this coming year.
Do all the physical therapy you can and continue with it at home and you should be fine. The people I know that have had problems didn’t work to get it back.

Im doing everything asked so far...I'm impatient at times...got a turnaround I'm was hoping to be back in time for at the end of January, probably not going to be able to be fully released in time for it...

PT should require you to get to 0 degrees extension before releasing you. Flexion is tricky because of the muscle tightness developed prior to the procedure. Did you have full extension/flexion prior to the procedure? If so, 4-6 months with regular strength rehab.

I am a PT and you should have functional range withing 6-8 weeks. You may never get full flexion range back but that is normal after this surgery. Full extension should be achieved ASAP even if it hurts like hell to get there. Strength will come back gradually over time but takes a bit longer. 6 weeks post op may be tough to return to work depending on what you do. If it's fairly physical manual labor then it may not be in your best interest.
