They have black kids at Parkview? What black parent sends their kid to Parkview?
As opposed to what? Parkview may not be in the upper echelon of BR private schools but it’s a much better educational option than any EBR public school.

EBR public school.
I would put the academics of Baton Rouge High up against any private school in BR.
How many National Merit Semifinalists and AP Scholars does Parkview have? How many students go to top universities.

so it’s probably something dumb like some student or parent saw him drinking a beer at the LSU game.
Maybe he got caught dancing.

The top 1% of students, sure. BR Magnet is great for your elite student. Where it really falls off is for the above-average student.

They had 6 pages of kids in the Advocate. Seems like a lot more than 1%.

Baton Rouge High
Most of those folks stories fizz out after freshman year of whatever college they go to.
All my friends who went there became liberal to unnecessary degrees of their personality.

I would put the academics of Dutchtown High above most private schools in BR.

Is this confirmed by any chance?
Rumor is that PBS had security escort dude out of the building and he's getting fired but that "Becky" is still working there.

Because Becky can sue since she was not the person with influence and power.

Becky wasn't worth it IMO

No kidding. If you are going to leverage your influence and position, you have to do better than that hag.

There are over 14,000 high school students in the EBR system that feed into BR Magnet. The top 1% would encompass around 140 kids - more than the 19 National Merit kids in the advocate.

I would just like to state for the record two things:
1) There is no place for men in education these days. It is a female dominated industry that, even though it DESPERATELY needs male influence, offers nothing that a man would be interested in besides hot faculty to fawn over. It is essentially for low T men who don't mind being underpaid and surrounded by teenage drama all the time. Your football coaches are the last bastion of masculinity in the school system and they are being pushed out the door systematically.
2) Being married to a teacher is a miserable life. They have no concept of how the world outside the school works. They assume that they can do anybody else's job, but no one can do theirs. They assume that the world would burn to the ground if they didn't stand up in front of their class, lecture for 20 minutes, then handout worksheets and sit at their desk till the bell rang every day. Then, they go home and bitch about their job, their pay, and all the drama going on with the bitch they can't stand, all the while refusing to change professions and rid themselves of all of that. They get paid pretty well for 9-10 month employees, but it's never enough and most, since they have so much time off, feel like they should be able to travel the world even though they can only afford a trip to Wal-mart.
This dude got caught with his hand in the nookie jar, and to quote Chris Rock talking about OJ "I'm not saying he should have....but I understand".

How many kids get free tuition at Parkview?

So a doctorate in education in your mind is not legitimate?
Not only is a D.Ed. (Dead) degree not legitimate in my mind or anywhere else, a Baccalaureate in education is not evidence that you have studied anything useful, but just a union card that says that you are eligible to teach.
You can get an education degree if you get poor grades in English, Math, and things that matter while performing well in the tripe in the education curriculum such as the history of land grants. Test scores of high school graduates have plummmeted for 30 years as schools have been pressured to hire Education degreed teachers over math and science graduates who actually knew their fields.
Please chime in if you disagree.
