Did this exact thing once going to a show at the Varsity. Mfers towed me still. Said that after those businesses close you can't be considered a customer.

Park down Chimes St if you can't get in the lot. You can also get into that LSU parking lot catercorner to Chimes

I park at Barcadia in the back pretty much ever time if I can. If not, I'll typically go park way in the back of the new shopping center by CVS. I've never been towed/

Just easier to get an uber and not have to worry about trying to find a spot or risk getting towed.
