School was definitely way out of line and I'd have been livid and made a trip to "express" that to the people there.
But the line from the parents that they "fear" the child "could have been touched inappropriately" kind of sends a red flag up on them for me. If they are just "fearing" then that's a pretty damned irresponsible thing to say in the media. If they have reason to believe something happened, law enforcement should be called in immediately.

"The family said the school knew about their child's medical condition and that she needs to go to the bathroom often."
Was at the end of the article but also a possibility it is not true. Mom better hope it was documented in paperwork if she plans on using this accusation in the lawsuit.

How often is "needs to go often"? Had she been in class once before? Twice before? I don't hang the not letting her go to the bathroom thing on the teacher if she goes all the time, I would get sick of it too. If that was the first time for the day then I can get behind the parents a little more.

just stop with this kind of bullshite. she could be touched just as much with pants on as she can with underwear on. If the school sent her home after confiscating her pants and underwear then just burn the fricking place to the ground, but I don't see that happening.
All in all, this is just a dumb thing for the school to do. Go chew their arse and go on with your day but they will splash it everywhere and lawyer up because 'Merica.
