I begrudgingly rolled out of bed earlier than I would have liked on Saturday morning to get my 20 month old breakfast.

Flipped on the tube to some OG Jurassic Park. He ran over and started making growling/roaring sounds at the dinosaurs.

It was great.

My kid is punctual, tidy, intelligent, polite, and fun to hang out with.

I can’t think of any “isms” that he has.

"Muntneys"

Five little muntneys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the Doctor and the Doctor said
“No more muntneys jumping on the bed!’

I miss those days.

My 2 year old was having some bad dreams and I put him in our bed which is rare. I got him settled and rolled over with my back to him. He tapped me on the shoulder and tried to roll me back over and said, “dad, can we ‘nuggle puh-lease?” Probably the sweetest damn moment I can remember. Ever since, “nuggle” has been a common word in our home.

My 6 year old likes palm bombing me with farts. Now I know why my dad stayed irritated with me.

My 4 yo boy re-enacts “joe burrow to jamaro(no matter how many times I correct him, it’s still jamaro) chase” in the back yard. Afterwards he breaks into a half arsed Heisman speech.

My oldest daughter used to play daycare with her baby dolls. It would look like a morgue. 15-20 baby dolls laid out in the den covered with blankets. She would tell them to go do-do.

I have a 3 year old nephew and his grandmother was fixing him a hot dog the other day and she asked him what did he want on it and he told her "none of your business".. She looked back at him and he realized he said something he shouldn't have and he tried to play it off by saying in a cute way that he wanted ketchup and a pickle.

And his brother who is 2 years older told him "you don't say that to adults!".

The same 3 year old this past weekend was at his brother's baseball game. His brother got hit with the ball and cried. After the game he told his brother "If that ball hit me I wouldn't cry. Im not worried about that ball"..

My kids leave the room for like two seconds and when they come back I’ve got one less kid.

my 4 yo son will take his amazon tablet with him when he has to poop and tell us he is taking a potty break and lock the door.

He also like to play Scooby Doo where he drives his power wheel jeep around the back yard while I chase him being the "monster". Then he gets stuck on the hill and calls time out so I can get him unstuck then I have to go back to being the monster until he gets stuck again.
