Send them away to a camp. Let them start building independent. Even better if the camp limits cell phone time. Fight that addiction as much as you can.

Stay away from Kidcam camps, seriously stay away.
St. Aloysius has a good summer camp for that age group and they keep the age groups separated.
It’s run by their aftercare staff.

Just drop the kids off at Perkins Row every morning with a $20 bill and tell them to hang around stores for the day.
