Why not? They would be observing our distant past right?

I guess it depends. They could be observing us at this moment in our present time, billions of years into our future. Or they could be an ancient, long since extinct civilization that had the ability to observe future civilizations without the ability to interact with them.

Sometimes I wonder if I choose to be conscious of this life because it’s the best of all my available lives in other parallel universes.

I’m guessing I’ve died in some of them, divorced in others, major injuries/cancers in a few, etc.

As tough as life can be at times, I honestly might not trade mine for any other person. That feels incredibly fortunate and maybe only due to being the best version of these universes.

Is Robert E Howard the guy who wrote the Conan books?

Yes
That’s part of a longer quote by Conan.
quote:

Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content.

No. Just this one in the ever present now. There is not enough energy to support multiples.

Say wut?

The available E is completely dependent upon the available MC². (Squared)

Do you believe they exist?
I've been to no less than 10, and I'm currently living in 3 simultaneously.

In other words, the wave function does not "collapse" but simply exists in all possible states in various universes.

So there's a universe where I'm fat, short, poor, and can't lift a heavy object?

I read all of his Conan works. It’s amazing the amount of work he put out before you died.
