Thank you! Was hoping someone would ask for that.

Moral judgments aside, about 40% of the U.S. population.

Never trust science and the government does not care about us. Don’t take the vaccine

500k deaths in a country of 330 million.
With all the draconian measures put in place, could the 500k have been prevented? We set the country back decades from an economic standpoint for what? Fear porn? Are we assuming that without the actions taken the deaths would have been into the millions? I’m not sure you can come to that conclusion.
seems the only thing we’ve learned is that the majority of society wants to be ruled and told what to do. They do not want the freedom of choice because it instills fear, they want to be controlled and want consequences for those who oppose that control.

Let me fix this:
Unless they report exactly what I want to hear/watch/read.
Unless I voted for them.

the initial messaging from a federal level was bad
Initial? How bout still?
Is it still no masks, or 1 or 2. Social distancing, 6 ft., 20, and now 3? Cloroquine is now good, but wasnt while Trump was president? Can we gather or not after we've had the vaccine? (which technically isnt a vaccine, but people arent getting that messaging)

Unacceptable. So for me, testing was the biggest flaw.
lulz
I didnt know you were in middle school. Sorry I bothered. They didnt know the damn thing existed 12 months ago, but you expected a an insta-test right out of the gate

Other successes- the nfl and college football.
We didn’t have the outbreaks that many predicted. They did something right
So continuing with life as we knew it in these areas was a pandemic success for you? What about grocery shopping, banking, or schools in states like Louisiana? They functioned like always, with no massive outbreaks
Just admit the less we listened to the govt, and an intentionally lying media, the more our lives preformed as normal

My key takeaway:
Government likes power
Over half the people in this country are willing to give up freedoms for nothing
Do masks work? Sure. Do we need to wear them? Most likely not. I'm not a doctor working with infected people. There is less than 1% chance I would catch this while shopping or going about normal activities. Wearing masks to the grocery store is just dumb.

f that's what you "learned" then you were waaaaaaay behind the 8ball in the brains department well before all this shite started. Unfortunately, you're still an idiot.
Another thing I learned is that posts that contain rhetoric like the above post usually come from people who don’t know shite but they need to come on message boards to talk tough to satisfy the weakness that they feel inside.
