Looking to re-paint kitchen walls and from searching online, there are a lot of conflicts on what nap to use, 3/8" or 1/2". Anyone have any suggestions on nap size and/or brand of roller to use?

I prefer purdy rollers... There's probably better but that's what I always buy.
Smooth walls, go with 3/8 nap.

scrw paying attention to the nap. I found years ago you get the best coverage painting with a glue applicator roller. TRY IT I thought the old guy who told me was crazy, but then I noticed those edging tools use the same nap as the glue rollers. I tried it and I will never ever use a paint roller again.

Both are good for smooth surfaces. I personally prefer the 1/2" nap. Can put more paint on it and will hide mistakes better. Just got done painting my wife's office and the finish is great. Use a good paint too. Don't skimp.
