I would never get the non-ecoboost V6. frick that. I had a V6 in a 1999 F150 and it was a gas guzzling slug. I know engines have improved but still.

Did you go back and buy it? I noticed the one I linked went away and the other one almost like it had a proce drop to 50k

Bought it yesterday. They called me back and offered $52, and I balked again. He then said they’d up my trade $2,500 to cover the difference “if I bought it today”....
They had originally given me a pretty good trade value—about what I was expecting based on KBB. So with the extra on the trade, I felt like it was the right deal for me.

Buddy bought the platinum for 48k with a trade in. They lowballed him 6-7 on his trade.
So 53 isn't awful. Wait a week and email your offer again.

That happened to me when I bought my F150 in 2017. They called me back and wouldn't budge on price but upped my trade in. Made no difference to me in the end.
