Unfortunately, there is Parainfluenza 3 going around. I had quite a few positive patients last week. It presents as respiratory issues. There are also different types of Coronavirus strains going around.

Whatever this stomach virus with diarrhea I have had for 3 days is, it is no joke. I’m nearly delirious. I’ve been in bed for 24 hours and counting and can’t keep an oz of water down for more than 5 minutes. I am rocking the hell out of this pedialyte and constantly running to the toilet. My stomach feels like I went 5 rounds with an agitated midget that could only punch as far as my lower abdomen.

There's definitely some kind of cold going around that isn't covid. I've been in and out of doctor's offices for 4 weeks now, and I'm just now getting over it.
One of my coworkers had it. And so.e friends had it.
Covid negative. Sinus issues, and serious chest congestion that in some has developed into pneumonia.

That is my fear.
I have been vaccinated. So I know it is probably not COVID. I got vaxed back in March/April.
Also, not having a fever is suspicious as to this pointing to an allergy instead of a bacterial or viral infection. But who knows, it could be.

Just to update you guys and gals, I was able to find some relief. No more head pressure and I can breathe finally.
Zyrtec and Mucinex D (version with Guaifenesin 1200 mg and Phenylephrine HCl 120 mg)
Just be prepared to sign your life away because of the high levels of Phenylephrine. You have to get it at the pharmacy and provide an ID just case you buy too much and start making your own meth.

All the cold viruses that were getting their asses kicked by COVID are coming back. People have forgotten how to be sick and have a cold/flu. For 18 months you had nothing or Covid (mild or severe).
All cold and flu seasons will be out of whack for a year or two now.
