Well, the article does a pretty good job of insulting them by reporting that they sold the story without permission of his other daughter or the estate. This movie has been planned for awhile and I'm surprised this is just coming out. I can understand the daughter from the first marriage being pissed IF in fact this story is accurate.

But is it an insult IF its true? The article looks fair to me as it describes the details of the filing.

I may have heard this from someone close to the story. Older half sister didn't want anything to do with the movie nor did anything to stop the sale OVER a YEAR AGO. Now she wants a piece of the $350k.
Universal is taking care of this and it will NOT stop the production or release.
From what I hear, every time a studio does a biopic, some family member does this. They were not surprised.

I didn't call him out. I didnt start this thread. The only thing I said was that I've never heard either of the sons bragging or exploiting their fathers legacy. I haven't been around either of them very much, but just saying what I observed in the few times I have.

They didn't do anything wrong nor deceive the half-siblings who are bitching now. They could have gotten their slice of the pie but distanced themselves from the whole idea/movie. Now that contracts were signed and money handed over and the movie is coming along, they are circling like two hungry vultures.
