Missed the last 2 days in transition week because I've been working in the yard all day. Month 3 starts tomorrow

So i'm starting week 9 today.
I skipped almost all of last week (recovery week). I feel terrible about it.
So far, i started at 175. Weighed myself last night, i'm at 185. I'm assuming most of that is muscle gain, however my diet was terrible last week. Hopefully, i get back on the right track, diet wise, and continue making gains. Think i'm going to quit drinking beer all together during the week. I usually have 1 beer with dinner 4 nights/week (excluding weekends). Need to get back to eating better, and drinking less. Or if i do drink, be more conscious of it.
I feel better, my balance is incredible, i feel a bit stronger, the added calories from beer probably doesn't help, so i will limit myself to the weekends only.

Honestly, I agree with what Tony says about alcohol. He says, "If you can't go 90 days without alcohol (or any vice), you might want to reevaluate your relationship with those things."
I know, it's a bit judgmental, but there is some truth to it. I was a drinker. I may still be a drinker, but I haven't had one since early November. Honestly, I don't think about it.

Question for the P90X3'ers. So all of block 2, i skipped MMX. I've been building a deck in my backyard, so the past 3 weekends, i've been busy from 8-5 building a deck in my back yard. I've been contemplating redoing 1 more week of block 2, but again, i will be doing deck work this weekend as well.
IYO, should i just continue on, or go back and do another week of block 2?
Once i finish p90x3, i'm just going to continue and make this workout my weekly routine, so i won't be losing anything in the end. I guess i'm more shocked at the weight gain. I've been weighing a steady 172-175 for a few months, and it wasn't until i weighed myself yesterday, that i found i gained about 8-10 lbs.
ETA: I had bbq shrimp saturday night, and boiled crawfish sunday for lunch. So i'm sure the sodium didn't help things.

For one workout, I'm not sure if repeating a whole week would be necessary but that's your call. MMX is a pretty good cardio workout.

I've been hearing that a lot from X3 users but none of them seem to be gaining fat. It all seems to be muscle. Not surprising with the amount of resistance training variation this go around.
If you're gaining weight but still looking good I wouldn't worry about it. If you're not, you could be retaining water especially if you're eating a lot of salty stuff and if if this is you're first time working out hard in a while.
