maybe look at the rogue foldable rack
LINK
get the 44" version and turn the safeties inside. when done, collapse and pull the car back in. seems to work better than squat stands but not as well as a true power rack. kind of a compromise.

Swagga check Craigslist. I picked up a Rogue S-1 and a barbell for cheap.

Week 3 of T25 done. Well tomorrow is stretch but I'll be subbing a 12-16 mile run in for that lol.
My body was a little fatigued towards the end of this week but my running seems to be benefiting from the workouts.

Finished my p90x3 this weekend capped off by a 5k mud run. I did pretty well, I could have pushed myself more but I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I struggled a bit more with keeping a running pace than I thought I would but I suppose x3 isn't designed to get you in the best running shape.
I started my p90x/t25 hybrid today with chest and back. It is definitely more intense than x3 simply because when x3 normally ends the second set of all the exercises begins. I am sure I will get more muscle growth and increased strength doing this regimen and I'm excited about it. X3 was a great lead in bc I remember trying to do p90x when I was unfit and struggling mightily. This time I finished all the exercises capably. If you are out of shape I definitely recommend x3 first before p90x.
How is everyone else doing?

I got 12.2 miles in this am. Had to make it home in time for 8am mass. My kids didn't want to go to 10:30 mass

Damn your kids do p90x3 mass schedule with you? That's great!

Dammit. I didn't mean to downvote you.

Suuuuure
You can change it. I accidentally hit the wrong one all the time.

I just figured it out. Thx! I always wondered how to do it.

I'm on Week 5 of Phase 2 for X2. I really enjoy X2.
After this, I'm going to do something different. I joined my local YMCA (family membership), and I'm going to try a workout a super strong dude shared with me.

I'm probably joining Y for summer to swim. I'm a teacher so I got plenty of time to fill.

Round 2 of classic schedule started today. 225 to start with and actually got some pictures (found the timer setting on my phone) It's scary to see how bad those pictures look and then to think about how different it probably is from 3 months ago
Going to attempt to low carb it up for a month or so just to see how that aids in the fat burning process.

challenge this morning. Bumped my push-up numbers by 1 since I finally succeeded on my original goal at the end of my last cycle. Also bought some new bands to use for my pull-ups. Previously I had like 4 bands attached totaling 45 lbs. Snagged me a 30 and 24 pound band and just using those currently so lots of room to increase the resistance if needed.
Managed to just squeak out all of my push-ups again this time, so will bump it up by 1 again next week.

Has anyone on here done both the original P90X and X3? For building muscle, which program is better for that?

I've done p90x several times, and am just starting week 2 of x3.
With that in mind, I can't give you an exact answer because my expereicne with 3 is pretty limited. However, based on what I do know of both programs, as far as building muscle, I would guess p90x does a better job. X3 has much shorter workouts and typically has more "mixed" workouts (resistance/cardio combined) than p90x. Someone else will have to shed more light who has done both, but that'd be my guess.

following the exact program of either wont build much muscle. body best or some kind of hybrid would be much better.

The original, imo.
But, I suggest Body Beast.

I'll just simply add that, in my opinion (regarding x3), it depends on what you mean by building muscle. a former fatass that had no muscle to begin with like myself...yes it will probably help tremendously. But if you've already got a good bit of muscle then I don't think it's going to help you get bigger or anything like that.

I agree withDoldil, if you are unfit do x3. If you are in decent shape p90x is better. If you are fit and want to bulk up then do body beast.

I want to eventually do the whole P90X, followed by X2.
And to the people who use Shakeology as a meal replacement, good luck. I like the taste but I'm usually hungry after an hour of consuming it.
