When I tried to do p90x I skipped a bunch or didn't do them all the way through. Not so for p90x3 I did every workout. All are of great quality. The only one I wanted to skip was yoga but I haven't and I've made big improvements though I still struggle.

Sounds like some things like Yoga and Pilates you'll likely end up skipping. Dynamics and then the one after that on transition weeks possibly. The one after Dynamics is basically holding a bunch of poses for 45 seconds which is a lot freaking harder than it sounds
Yoga is one of my favorites, just because it's a nice refresher while still kicking my arse after a crazy workout like the challenge. Everything is only 30 minutes though, so I wouldn't skip any of them, they all work together to help you out. Either way, x3 is good times and I really enjoy how good of a workout I'm able to get from it.

Good, that will probably make me more inclined to do all of them unlike with p90x.
I love the program, but clearing out an hour first thing in the morning is tough.

Isometrix. The best disc

Do all the workouts. You won't regret it.

I started T25. Combining this with running 3 days a week. Need to get to 180 or lower before New York City marathon training starts!

did back and biceps this morning. I love that disc, I feel it all day. I've had the discs about 3 years now, and after this week it'll be the first time I've really stuck with it for a full 12 weeks. Granted I don't follow the routine to a T (it calls for 6 workout days with 1 rest...I just do the 3 resistance workouts throughout the week and usually core syn. on one of the off days) but I can definitely see major progress from day 1 to now.
Taking next week off then starting x3. Pretty pumped about that.

After decelerator I don't feel I got a good workout because it's so damn hard. Perhaps I'm not putting in enough effort, the moves a bit out of my ability.

Need advice or comments from past experience. After five of six days vacation break I picked up where I left off on phase three. I've had four awful workouts - decel, Mmx, upper, trio. My body feels weak, I'm struggling completing the same number of reps I've done previously etc. I've lacked motivation and can't seem to put in max effort but I'm also getting tired more quickly. Previously, if I didn't look forward to a workout I at least didn't dread it. And after a good sweat I felt good. This hasn't been the case this week.
Is this normal after a break or is it just the program wearing me down after 75 days or so? Perhaps just a mental obstacle I need to overcome? Appreciate the help.

Hmmm. It could be diet. Are you getting enough carbs?
Posted on 4/13/15 at 5:42 pm to SabiDojo
That may be one of the causes, I haven't purposely restricted calories. I am eating much healthier ( much more veggies and lean meats) and trying not to overeat. But I have been eating less calories and probably too few carbs. I am down 20 pounds ( I wasnt overweight as much as had bad weight, lots of belly fat little muscle mass) and I may need to increase calorie intake as I try to build muscle in phase three

Sabi you ever do BOdy Beast yet? My buddy is doing the Beachbody competition in June or July. He's one his first round of body beast with following the diet reqs. He will do another round right after. He won 1G from his initial results with X3 and BB

It might be it. Also, make sure you're getting enough fats, especially saturated fats. Saturated fats actually increase testosterone. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are good too, but saturated fats play their role as well.
When I cut too much I had energy issues. Now I eat a lot more carbs. Gotta break down those sugars for energy.

Same here. Took a week off while sick with Strep.
Been struggling to get back on ever since. Used to look forward to workout and make sure I get them in (doubles too). Now, I'm happy if I squeeze one in at night. Diet has changed, but I think they break just kinda killed my motivation and routine. Now it feels outta sync.

Core Cardio is a tough disc.
