When cutting, what are the techniques y'all use to keep from overeating or munching on things during the day/night?
I chew gum like a fiend and drink a ton of water to curb appetite. Anybody else?

Believe it or not, I would drink a cup of coffee.

LINKI shared this article on fitness facebook page last week.
Unless you're in a movie, a photo shoot, or a competition there's really no reason for you to do a cutting diet simply because they're not sustainable.
If you want to look good on the beach ok, but be safe about it and know as much as you can. You can very easily male yourself malnourished or dehydrated.
But long story short, for me limit your salt intake to very little. Drink shite loads of water. And do workouts that make you sweat a lot or give you a good pump.
Or you could use the bro method and get rip roaring drunk. You always look more cut the day after simply because you're dehydrated.

You gotta be really lean in the first place.
Realistically, a guys goal for looking ripped and lean year round is to get body fat around 10% and to keep protein intake high to maintain muscle.
5% body fat just is not sustainable. Body builders who get there don't stay there year round.

Yeah no way I'm going that low. (A) I can't do it and (B) it looks retarded.
I'm 6'1" or 6'2" and weigh less than 180 as it is. Can you imagine me with 5% body fat? Yeesh. Unless I got absolutely jacked, but then I'd look like a juicemonkey and my wife would divorce me.

Just had a Strawberry Shakeology with almond milk, banana and peanut butter. Delicious.

Just did my shoulders and back weight routine. Will probably ruin me for TBC tomorrow, but I got tired of doing body weight exercises.
Something about getting a good pump that makes you feel like you can be the boss for a while.

You like the regular strawberry Shakeology?
I have trop berry and vanilla(don't get the vanilla). Next bag I'm thinking about reg strawberry.
Did Total Body Circuit today. Had to modify A LOT today. But I got it done. I did this once all the way through gamma a few months ago...I can do this again

It has grown on me. I forgot to change the flavor and get Greenberry.
I've got TBC tomorrow. It's my favorite workout by far.

Greenberry.
I have never heard good things about that flavor.
Never tried it though.

I don't like Greenberry at all, although there are a few recipes that make it taste good.
Should I make that ab workout video tonight?

Yep, and add it to that Google Drive account.
Posted on 6/4/14 at 8:53 pm to SabiDojo
I changed it so you can edit the drive.

I'll probably just add it to my youtube account then link it on the Facebook page.
The only person who can film it just went to sleep. I'll put it on video eventually, but I'll just post the routine here first:
1. Dragon lift twists - 1:00, 10-15 reps
2. Ab wheel roll outs - 1:00, 10-20 reps
3. Resistnace band wood chops - 10-15 reps each side
4. Med pall pike ups with russian twists - 10-15 reps
Just real quick done after a workout. Keep in mind that these are just four moves I do. I try to change it up as much as I can and do different ab exercised every time.

eccentric lower finished. One annoyance on that program that I'll deal with in the future...they say workout materials required and list off everything except a freakin' chair. I don't have a chair without wheels so had to stop the workout briefly to clean off space on a trunk that happens to be in the workout room to do my lunges on...which worked out quite well so I may just stick with that until my legs are stronger and need to be put up higher.
I desperately need to get stronger in my hips/hamstrings and more flexible. anything that requires a straight leg to the front or lifted at waist level or above in some manor is very difficult for me, but I figure that stuff will come as I progress.
all that said, it was a good workout this morning. I am confused a little though. I was tracking my calories yesterday and I hit my macro?nutrient goals:
90/90 fat
281/271 carbs (21g dietary fiber)
204/202 protein
but my tracker said I was only at 2608/2700 calories. that doesn't make sense to me...anyone have any ideas on what could cause that differential?

I'm hoping to gain some flexibility as well. At best, I'm a good 6" short of being able to reach my toes. I love it when Tony says come up to level, and I'm already there.

lmao yeah I'm the same way. I think I have issues with my legs when it comes to attempting to stretch my hamstring. If I lock my legs out and stretch it feels like someone is stabbing me behind the knee. It's done that since I was a kid having to do sit and reach tests (that I always failed) It wasn't until maybe a year or so ago that I bent my knees a bit and finally felt what it was like to actually stretch my hamstrings. HUGE difference

Tony would say you have too many hamstring muscles.
