By far the worst part of this shite. It's like billable hours for work.

X3 has a purely portion control plan that requires no calorie counting.

Same with 21 day fix. Once you get the hang of the colored containers and how big each one holds...it's pretty easy.

Just requires you to plan out your meals in advance. And prep/cook more since you don't eat any processed foods.

This is a major part of the problem. I don't have time to do that. My wife and I work to the point that getting any exercise in is a triumph.

Well if you want good results...you make the time you know.

And it isn't that difficult. Can be as easy as cooking up a bunch of chicken breasts on a day off to eat for the week, stuff like that.

That's what we, and by we I mean my wife, did last week. For next week we've got a whole chicken to toss in the oven and I'll eat off that thing for the rest of the week.

My version of "counting" calories is now to make sure I'm eating enough food. I've been so used to my portion control over the last year that if I don't go out of my way to eat more I'll be eating 1700ish calories forever

I used to make a weeks worth of meals on Sunday then put them all in Tupperware and be set for the week. No need to worry about cooking, measuring or counting cause it's already done.

Pretty good system I had for a while.

I make a couple meals in advance as well. But also plan out the rest of the week and stock up my fridge. I have my meal plan on my fridge and my phone so I can just look at that.

And will make something simple for lunch following meal plan(ex: 2 egg scramble with veggies and turkey bacon...2 red, 1 green and 1 yellow if I have it on a whole wheat tortilla).

Since I'm doing T25 now but doing the 21 day fix meal plan I went up a bracket in how many containers to eat(figured I'll need more calories for T25 vs the 21 day fix workouts).

Can I tell you how excited I was when I realized I get to have an extra yellow and purple container PLUS 2 extra teaspoons?!!

I know my wife hated that she could only have the one yellow container.

And she would usually use two of them at once by having a glass of wine. One thing she will not give up is her wine.

You get a certain amount of tsp of peanut butter(or almond or other nut butter) as part of the 21 day fix.

The lowest bracket you are allowed 2 a day. When you are doing the program and craving sweets so badly that one tsp tastes amazing.

Yeah not doing that. The results are good without that. My days off are filled with weekend warrior shite usually, and when they aren't, the last thing I want to do is plan and prepare a week's worth of food that is all the same 4 ingredients. Just doesn't appeal to me. That works for some people, though, and more power to them.

I'll just count calories and try to really focus on getting healthy things at the restaurants we eat at. It's working fine so far.

I have a tbsp a day usually. Helps curb sweet cravings, but I should really get raw peanut butter instead of Jif.

did Dynamix last night...that was quite fun.

Accelerator was this morning...I'd like to go pass out now. I seriously look like I just jumped in the pool with my clothes on.

Ab Intervals is probably the best workout ever.

X3 Yoga was really fun last night. The moves are way too rushed, though.

Today is Lower Focus and The Challenge. Bring it, biotch.

Ew. Lower Focus is rough. But it looks like the Challenge is upper body(?). At least you won't be completely fricked after Lower Focus when going to do the Challenge. But you will be tomorrow!

Quick question for you guys.

I just started doing p90x again. Chest and back absolutely killed my chest Tuesday. I'm still at the point today that just holding my arms up hurts badly
Is it good to push through a workout even though you won't be able to do the entire thing (sort of half-arse it) or should I take a day off to maybe let my body catch up. And when I say pain, I mean real pain...ice packs + lots of Ibuprofen. Today I was going to do Shoulders/Arms but I honestly dont think I could give it my all with the way my chest feels.
And no I did not take anything post-workout which Im guessing is a pretty big deal Can yall recommend anything?
