Cell SW of BR looks to have a pretty intense hail core, meso, and decent inflow.

I think thats gonna be the grand opening of the night. Looks pretty healthy. Some have weakened coming on shore. Time will tell

A positive i see is that lake charles looks to be in the clear. The system is moving east now. Only a few cells will move through each area hopefully. This could lead to less flooding and less chance of seeing severe weather. Only takes one cell tho

Have no idea why ascension is in the t-storm warning, its not even coming close to here.

My point. Booking NE and will head through baton rouge into north central Livingston without touching any part of ascension. Not saying none will later tonight but this one wasn't even in question.

i agree, its just the way they make their polygons, they always widen them to account for abnormal movement
