Daughter got called to school for her son doing the finger gun. I was like WTF? 1st grade at that
If some kid came and shot up your grandsons school, you would wreck holy hell on the administration if they missed a single warning sign that could have prevented it.....

Do the school buses quit running in the northern states when snow falls?

Snow days? Everything is relative imo. Coaches in arid climates have to keep an eye on the humidity. Really high humidity and their players can suffer health issues. Tell that to a player in Louisiana during summer “two-a-days” and be ready to hear the laughs. That being said, it is probably a good policy for those coaches in arid parts of our country to monitor the humidity in extreme weather events. All it takes is one player to have a heat stroke and then you have a lawsuit. Wrecks can happen in the snow of the Northern US just as heat strokes can happen here in Louisiana, but I would imagine familiarity concerning the circumstances matter. Coaches in arid areas of our country don’t deal with high humidity often so expecting them to be knowledgeable about proper protocol is unrealistic. Experience matters imho. Similarly, our bus drivers don’t deal with the snow. I feel that is something that should be considered when making a decision.
