We have 43 million barrels of diesel as of last Friday just in PADD 3. 107 million nationwide
ETA: sorry, I misread as 107 million gallons instead of barrels. Still seems a little concerning.

The vast majority is ULSD. A lot of refineries blend kerosene with diesel to get to ULSD. Very little diesel above 15PPM sulfur is produced, Roughly 5 million BPD to under 200,000 BPD of off road diesel

I just started a new job and was issued a 2026 Z71 1500 with the Duramax 3.0. It gets great mileage for a diesel. Fortunately, we have bulk diesel tanks at our locations across Atlanta and I just type in my truck # and fill it up. Top it off on Friday afternoon to get me through the weekend. I love the truck but wouldn’t want to be paying for the fuel if it was out of my pocket.
