Go for it. You are young and a small portable pool like that will just look like you are having fun with it for a while.

I have an above ground pool, not like the one in the image, but a more sturdy one. It's 14 years old now, and still looks good overall. On my 4th liner now.

Why don't you just bite the bullet, drop some cash, and buy a used shipping container that you can fill with water.

Go for it, I understand that the "winners" on here will call it trash. But at that price you can use for a few weeks and trash it after that.

Not bad for $45.

i'm a trashy guy, so i love it. actually, it's not my favorite look, but i weighed paying $45,000 and having operating costs for the rest of my life, or $45 and cutting a hole in the side at the end of the season.

then it was an easy decision. your new theme song "Gene's Pool"

Dude I'd buy that thing. Its not a permanent above ground pool, you'd just use it when you're messing around outside. It's not like you're trying to be cool and show off. For sure buy it.

Permanent above ground= TRASH
Non-Permanent Inflatable pool= Fun and relaxing.

Me and some buddies from Boulder bought two of those for a birthday pool party two years ago. It was a fun night, but those $45 pools are more for temporary use imo. The shite got dirty fast, and attracted many bugs.

Get one that you can sit on the bottom and hold your arms on the side. It's more comfortable than sitting on a raft.

Get some Thermacell torches to put around it at night time.
