You're both right, I said a Celica

Ugly arse Ferrari either way.

No offense to the Vette. They're bad arse, but Ferrari... Because it's a Ferrari, and I want to own a Ferrari.

Vette, because maintenance is a frick load cheaper.
If money isn't of a concern, Ferrari.

They were probably around that brand new. Pretty sure they can be had with low miles in the low 40's

Believe it or not the range is between 73 and mid 40s.
Even at 45k I guarantee I can find a better supercar car than either of those options. The 456 was crap, plus supercars over 8 years old literally start to fall apart without pristine and perfect maintenance. A 96? 18 years of being dogged? No thanks.
Lotus, Porche, Aston Martin, AMGs all can be had in much better shape and a good bit newer than the Ferrari. The Vette would be better than all of them performance wise though, considering those would be pre 2006 models.

exactly. You don't buy a Ferrari because it's reasonable, practical or easy to live with. You buy a Ferrari because it's a fricking Ferrari. You buy it with your dick, not your brain.

Is a Corvette considered a supercar?

That's great, but buying a 18yr old 4 seat Ferrari is trying way too hard.
The 456 is shite, as is the 348. The 355 looks and sounds amazing but is a maintenance nightmare.
Then again what the frick do I know....

For me, there's one thing that has always put the 911 over everything else…
…dat arse.

From a performance standpoint...the newer Bette is likely near that of the older Ferrari.

Name one car that will perform better than that Z06 for the money.

That Ferrari looks like an old Toyota Celica. Would be hard to brag about to people who don't know cars.
Until they hear it. Because, well, it doesn't sound like an old Toyota Celica.

There really isn't any other car out there that competes with the Z06 for the price.
That said, I'll pick the 'Vette over that particular Ferrari. These two examples are very different cars. One's a true sports and the other is a GT car.
