OT workout crew: thoughts on gymnastics rings

anybody use these? You can get them cheap on ebay, thought they'd be fun to fool around with.

Use them for what exactly? Muscle ups? Ring rows? Plan on holding your body weight while your arms are parallel?

Dips are a big part of my regular routine, so I'd probably start out with that. From what I've read, ring dips are a lot harder than bar dips.

Are you adding these to a home gym or you gonna be bringing these to the gym?
Dips are definitely "different" on rings. I find I don't like it as much. They're a really good full-body exercise, but I find I'm focusing all my energy on my core when I do them on rings. I prefer them on a fixed structure where I can do them weighted and really burn my shoulders and triceps.
I'll mix them in on rings from time to time, though.

I work out at home, so it would be there. I figure I could hang them off my pullup bar. If that doesn't work, I'll figure something else out.

Depends on what you're using them for.
If you try to do stuff you shouldn't it's a great recipe for a torn rotator cuff.

I love using them for leg raises for lower abs
