This. I'd like to believe in the paranormal, and I have sort of a soft spot for it (because it is so fascinating to me), but there is just no concrete proof of any of it, and it's a pretty big leap of faith.
fr33, you're a pretty spiritual dude, aren't you? I remember you always popping up in these kinds of threads, and you even commented earlier in this thread about experiences "behind the veil" and all that. So almost unquestionably, your kid has picked up some of that talk from you and associated it into her imagination.
Also, these threads should never exist without tigerfaninbama's story being posted:

My son at about 3 described to me on Christmas morning the layout of the house where I grew up. It was very strange as he's never been there.

I'm not saying you've directly talked to her about it. I'm saying she's picked up some of that kind of talk from you/people you associate with. It doesn't take much for kids to come across something and let their imagination run completely wild with it.

My wife has her degrees related to children, and she has told me the the past that it is normal for children to go into phases of imaginary friends.

My son had open-heart surgery when he was 2. (totally fine now). A few months after his surgery we went to church and he was walking with my mom afterwards. They stopped at a statue and my mom asked him if he knew who that was..(just trying to educate him).
He said, "Yes that's Mary the lady that held me. You remember you were there and mommy and daddy too"....

Seriously though, I don't talk about that stuff with anyone, nor do I associate with that type of people. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, I just don't have those sorts of friends.

I don't want to talk about it 'cuz it scares the shyt out of people and didn't want to alarm the OP. Told people about it before and their kids had nightmares for a year. Felt bad about it.

I just mean that I would almost guarantee you that she's heard something from you to make her think/feel the way she does.
Of course, it could be a ghost or whatever (spirit?). I just don't think I buy into all of that (even though it fascinates the shite out of me).
