I suffer from sleep paralysis all the time. I had it this afternoon during my nap. I woke up and there was something demonic laying on my bed next to me. It sucks but It's all in my head.

Happens to me a few times a month. Terrifying until I read up on what it was. Still not fun

I am 43 and this happened to me the 1st time in my life about 6 weeks ago. I was sleeping upstairs in my sons bed because he had crawled In mine earlier and I didn't want to move him. Woke up and could not move. I grew terrified and began trying to scream out but it was just coming out in low moans....barely audible to anyone not right next to me. Kept telling myself I was dreaming and to wake up. It felt so real. And then, suddenly, I did actually wake up for real. Never felt so relieved in my life.

Yep. shite is horrifying because you're moving and think you're awake and lucid. The 'predator' lookin figure in my room was the first and worst. I jumped up screaming gtfo of here. Turned on light and sat there alone, panting and sweating like wtf was that. Real? Ghost? Dream?

Your daughter is not hallucinating. She's sensitive to spirits. Most grow out of it, but some don't.

Don't freak out. Don't run to a priest. Don't swallow the bullshite that all spirits are evil or nefarious in nature (though some are, most aren't). If you get the chance to talk to an adult 'sensitive', take it. I'd turn you on to one I know but she lives out of state now. Other than that, just pay close attention and use your best judgement as to gauge whether the spirit or spirits are malevolent or benign. More than likely they're the latter.

Yea I'm an anxious person in general so I assume its my mind realizing I'm drifting off and I catch myself.

I never said she was.

Maybe. Or it could just be her imagination. I know I saw/heard things when I was a kid too.

Wasn't in my plans.

I'm familiar with the other realms. But part of me explains that by me simply having a very active imagination.

YES. I got rid of the mattress immediately and I never asked her what scared her, but she scares easily anyways. I scare easily too ever since that happened.

Based on your previous posts... Not sure if sarcasm..

But seriously, this wasn't some made up story to creep out a high school class. Her son was my best friend so i knew her outside of the classroom.

She didn't confine the story to the classroom and she didn't recite some story. She told it blatantly honestly

I totally disagree! This just simply isn't the truth. In our case, the relative that passed away appeared to several people. And no contact was of a negative manner.

I have night terrors too as well as lucid dreams. The lucid dreams happen mostly when I continue to press the snooze button. The night terrors are crazy and mriluv says that it sounds like I am trying to scream but it's muffled. Sometimes I will realize it's a nightmare and can wake myself up after what seems like forever. But when I realize I am in a normal dream, it becomes hard to stay in it.

I didn't mean to be harsh.

It is just my personal experience and opinion that unclean spirits, which desire our humanity itself, sometimes can and will attach themselves to the living under any pretenses.

They aren't coming to scare you. They are coming to sneak up and get super close to you and be so close to tasting what you have........they just can't... At least I hope they can't.

To clarify, there are many types, I just describe one.

Hey... Question if you don't mind. I may have missed it as I was reading on my phone, but what correlation did you make between your experiences and the events surrounding the death of your childhood friends?

Did you attribute your experiences to having opened yourself to that sort of thing or was it something something else?

TIA!

So what do you think they really want.
