Just checked my informed delivery and our letter is coming today too. My heart rate is gonna be high all day now.
This is my next biggest fear. Mine likes to act goofy and silly at times. But I’m praying he doesn’t act like this on THAT one day.

My first child got a chance to test but was having one of those days 4 year olds have and just didnt co-operate during testing and didnt get in. She was well prepared and could do all the skills necessary but just choked.

The testers are probably used to kids acting goofy. Mine just flat refused to take the reading portion. I blame myself some. We did alphabet drills and all these things to get her ready. We emphasized the importance of doing well on the test.I think she was scared of failure and just clammed up. My youngest we did not prep at all and she was relaxed as can be and did fine.

When we went on the tour of WHAM, they mentioned the testing was nearly 1.5 hours long and it’s on an iPad. Sounds like a lot for a kindergartner.

Friends of ours son took the test last year for FLAIM and passed it.
They said it was about 1.5 hours long. He walked out, hair all over the place and agitated lol.

I have a 4 year old that spends 5-6 hours a day on his iPad. I think they can handle 1.5 hours.
