How is this thread still going?
The answer is NO. You dont bring people to parties unless they are specifically invited. (kids, siblings, other adults, friends, etc). That's it. Imagine if every 1 year old who was invited showed up with all of their siblings....

No. For assuming that I would have sex with you, based on the horrible pic of your arse (not that your arse is horrible; it's just not a good pic to see what it looks like).
When you re-read the thread to find all of my sage advice, you'll understand.

I enjoy the ot and the buffet of opinions on here. However, sometimes people find themselves in unmarked territory. The players usually give good advice on getting strange. The Richies give good exaggerated advice on being rich. The losers give obvious loser advice. It's when these paths start to cross that things start to smell.

The invite said only the one year old's name. Are the parents not invited?

Right, so sort of bitchy/condescending, but only a little bit. Sort of like the

That's Katie Cassidy, and I want to marry her.

FWIW, a one year old's birthday party isn't really one of those territories.
(kinda like that, Wink?)

When inviting young child to party, all siblings should be assumed. Wont have many kids at party if the other parents are forced to hire a sitter.
On another point, i would do anything not to go. The first party is terrible and the kids wont remember

Why should I? You've been nothing but mean so far in this thread, and this is pretty much the only time I've read your posts. Based on GTTM and I's discussion, you aren't the sharpest crayon in the forest, if you know what I mean.

On occasion, not often, non-parents will make suggestions about parenting that reveals they have no idea what they are talking about. Most often, it involves detailed and complex activities that, if actually attempted, would take 25 hours per day to accomplish. Or involves suggestions that might work right now, but aren't good for the child's development.
"I don't know why you spend so much money on fast food. You should have your toddler make his own vegetarian sandwiches."
"You shouldn't keep your child away from sick people. Every time your child gets sick, it builds up his immune system!"
"How can you let convenience or lack of time have a negative impact on your child? I would make or take whatever amount of time my child needs."
"You can't compromise when it comes to your child."
"I will never let my child out of my sight!"
"I think self-expression is life. Why don't you teach your three-year old to smock her own dresses?"
"How can you just let your child cry?"
