There's two dining rooms, food doesn't leave there or the kitchen.
Kids are too messy.

Uhhh... that's not a kid. And if that 20-25 year old is still at the parent's house, instead of out in the real world earning a paycheck - they don't deserve to eat in the bedroom.

My kids are 11 and 13 and I don't think they have ever even attempted to bring food in their rooms. My wife and I don't eat in our room either.

We do all occasionally eat in the living room watching tv, though.
