that’s the thing here. The date is important to us. This is our third annual Cajun Riviera Go Topless Weekend. We’ve cancelled the live bands. We’ve cancelled some of the contests. Those were the parts of the event that “forced” people to interact closely with each other. For the most part, even though we’re gathering together on the beach, most attendees are there just for the sights and keep pretty much to their own little camps.

The second part of this is the economical part. We started this to bring back money to the small economy there. There’s not a rental available for miles for next weekend. That includes RV spots as well as cabins/houses. Since we started this, residents that have never rented their property before started making money. The residents and property owners want us there. They want this event to thrive as long as we don’t turn it into the circus at Crystal Beach.

Thirdly, The attendees that have rented these RV spots or houses would be out deposits and some will have wasted scheduled PTO or vacation.
