OT Mechanics - Electrical Issue

I have an 08 Mustang GT. I do most of my repairs/maintenance myself, but I am a novice when it comes to wiring and electrical issues.

So a while back I had an issue where the alternator cable to the battery was not getting a good enough connection and it put a real strain on my alternator. (Don't know how this happened because I thought I tighten that nut down snug, but w/e)

Anyway this ended up putting a big strain on the alternator and it fried it along with my cd player. I replaced the alternator and everything was fine for a while apart from the cd player clicking and trying to boot up when I turn on the ignition (eventually stops trying after a minute). Then, the wipers started going haywire. They'd turn on at random times at different speeds without me flipping the switch. I figured the wiper motor was fried, and I replaced it.

That was a year ago and all has been well until this weekend. I was changing the oil when the alarm started going off. I thought I might have shaken it while on jackstands so I thought nothing of it. Since then, the wipers started going nuts again along with it constantly spitting out washer fluid in spurts instead of constant. Also, the wiper controls did not respond at all and would not shut off until all of a sudden the wipers died along with my A/C fan.

Does this mean I have a short somewhere? I don't want any more components dying on me. Any advice is appreciated on what to do, and I'd also take any recommendations on mechanics in town who are especially good at this stuff. Thanks.
