I read this as a job posting, as in the OT is hiring managers. I guess I got my resume all spruced up for nothing.
Same here. My heart was racing when I saw the title to this thread. I'd make a good OT manager.

Cause it isn't 2002 anymore
To me that shows you aren't very savvy with technology. I don't have time to teach people how to do basic things on a computer.

Also use narrow margins if you need to keep it at one page, yet have a good amount of related background. But try to keep the info concise. I personally use bullet points, but there are other methods

I just wanted to share what I learned.
If you haven't noticed, I don't post as much as I did previously.

I had an application come across my desk and under skills the guy put "can drive a stick shift". He also had two bible quotes in there and his picture on the top right. He looked like the Shermanator. This was for a part time office worker.
Well.....did he get the job?

What a crock of shite. Are you suggesting that people change their e-mail accounts every time a new fancy provider comes along? Hotmail and gmail are pretty much the same damn thing with a different wrapper.
Misspellings and poor grammar I can see. But e-mail accounts?
How old are you?

Whatever you do, do not put an "objectives" section. It's stupid as hell. Everyone's objective is to get a job and make money.

Having an address in a nice part of town is a plus. If you don't have that going for yourself use a rich uncles address.
