Those crepe soles get gunked up with the quickness, and you will bust your arse on smooth concrete.

This x100. I can't tell you how many times I busted my arse. Plus, the soles are really thin so you can feel every rock under your feet.

Yep, soles do wear out quickly, take em to a good shoe repair place and have em resoled with leather and rubber half sole to protect leather. They will last forever with good conditioning on upper...
