I've never heard of 1/2 the brands you guys mentioned.
I'm too old to wear anything with fancy designs on the arse pockets. Not so old that I only wear pleated acid washed Dockers jeans and white leather Reeboks though. I've been buying the retro Wranglers lately.

I don't like Levi's anymore. Their zipper cover always folds and looks like I need to XYZ. Also the waistband area is too soft and folds in on itself.

I like Luckys on guys. Don't pay full price, though. Nordstrom Rack (online) has them 5-6 times a year for $40/pair.

My go-to blue jeans are Daniel Cremieux from Dillard's. They look a lot like those AG jeans you posted. Stylish fit, but no fancy pockets.
