I've got a cheap trainer that maxes out at like 350 watts with my bike, so I wouldn't recommend. I was researching to maybe get a Kurt Kinetic Rock & Roll. Or even up to a smart trainer. I use Trainerroad and linking up in erg mode to where it controls your resistance would be a nice thing to have. But at $250, I'd get a fluid that gets me the most watts. I hate that I'm maxed out. I did intervals this morning that called for 450 watts for 20 sec I do and I'm spinning out at 340ish.
