I know this is the OT though, and your 3 months after starting at the box.

Nah, just 4 years Olympic lifting in high school and the intermittent weightlifting camps from Gayle Hatch.

Dude, we get it. You're too good for crossfit and think it's bad. That's, like, your opinion, man.

actually I never said that.

You said i sad it, then called it my opinion.

That's called a strawman argument. It's ok you're too stupid to realize what you did. I was here to point it out to you.

Lifting in the Hatch dome is awesome.

Are you enjoying college?

I am clearly being very serious in my arguments while using a Big Lebowski quote.

But congratulations on using an informal fallacy term that we all had to learn in middle school as proof of your intellect! We are all so proud of you!

Yeah I didn't get that one either. I actually have a t-shirt that I wore to the gym the other day from a Gayle Hatch camp, and my arse is sadly way too old for college.

Ok, so there are these places, right? And you pay them, usually on a monthly basis, to be able to go into these places. And inside these buildings, there's all sorts of equipment that.....

...wait a minute. That was sarcasm, wasn't it?

Too many acronyms for me.

I'd confuse meters for minutes and fall out trying to do rows for 8 hours.

When I said it was maximal I sorta thought you understood that it was one rep max, suppose I overestimated. My apologies.

Which is ironic because that's one of the negative (and false) crossfit stereotypes: we all think crossfit is the best and only way to exercise.

Not false. And the crosscult leader believes culters are the most fit people in the world.

However, I leave this here for the masses... Stupid quotes from various crosscult idiots.

Whoa, wait a minute. You're telling me the CEO of a company is saying that his product is superior to other products out there on the market??? What kind of lunacy is that????

And as for your link, there are 20-30 quotes/comments from people, many of which are from the founder and CEO. Over 209,000 people signed up for the Crossfit Open alone this year, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of others that did not. But yes, 20-30 quotes really proves that all crossfitters think it's the only way to exercise.

As someone who has been doing it for a few years, I can honestly say that I think it is the best form of exercise FOR ME.

I enjoy the comradery and simultaneously the competitiveness of it. I enjoy being able to walk into the gym and have a workout programmed for me. I enjoy that I have knowledgeable people training me (yes, there are bad coaches out there, fortunately I have some really great people at my gym).

But if someone else prefers to go to spin, or swim regularly, or just go and lift on their own, I think that's great. They are all great workouts, and as long as you're pushing yourself, you will become a better athlete at the end of the day.

Your cult leader is a fat arse who can't even workout and attacks coaches of sports who apparently dooesn't believe in his own bullshite. With good reason.

And he doesn't even know the difference btn aerobic and anaerobic.

That is a load of bs. Your leader thinks the best culters can compete with the pros. I wish just one of you would prove it.

However, "Former elite Crossfitter Gillian Mounsey releases a very honest article on her dissatisfaction with Crossfit. Describes an epiphany that Crossfit was making her good at exercise, not athletics."

Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick are fat, yet they seem to produce championship teams fairly frequently. But maybe Greg Glassman is just under-inflating medicine balls.
