Unless they are allowed to leave their house for gainful employment, restitution will never happen.

The terms being negotiated are 10 hours a day for work and 2 hours Saturday morning for shopping/errands

Depends on how they are monitored. Ankle bracelet about tree fiddy. Random land line phone monitor much less. You will find they can’t prove he embezzled every dollar and don’t want to pick a jury over it. Too many violent crimes to prosecute. Have better controls. You will not be happy with the outcome.

Anyone dishonest enough to do that in the first place is not honorable enough to care about paying you back. They’ll work cash jobs to eat and just drag you along forever.

I charge 202.98 per month for basic home incarceration.

You have a voice in the process but not a vote. The ADA will close the case quickly. If this is a first time felon he will get a suspended sentence and probation.

It also reduces the ability to pay other expenses, but restitution would be a priority to stay out of jail.
Jail and house seizure seems like a viable alternative.

Good luck. If she was busted with a few ounces of weed, she would get 5 years in prison. Embezzle a significant amount of money, six months of house arrest and minimal restitution.
