Enjoy these threads. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on my tickets to ORD in Chicago. Can't decide if $250 round trip is cheap enough to pull the trigger on or not. Also found $275 round trip into ORD and home from MKE. Any opinions?

Headed to Cancun in June flying out on a Saturday and back in on a Friday. What would you guess I'll be paying for a roundtrip?
$388 is the going rate right now for june, but $264 is the rate for Saturdays-Fridays in May. If you're lucky, Delta and United may try to go after one another pricing wise and lower it down to $264 within a few weeks. Keep a lookout over the next few weeks (I will as well) and if you or I see it go down to $264 I'd highly recommend booking.
Also, last summer orange air flew from MSY-CUN nonstop, but I don't see anything about when they would restart this summer. Looks like they were at $198 roundtrip last June

Are you actually going to ORD or MKE? I'm guessing this is for the lsu wisky game? Fares have been as cheap as $88 on the Nola-Chicago route. $250 doesn't seem like a great deal, I need more info to find specific dates/flight times

$200 roundtrip would be nice.

I'm going from south louisiana to MSP in the near future and have equivalent prices and flight times with different layover locations?
which layover would you choose? IAH,DFW or ATL
I've been to DFW a few times, haven't been to IAH (have been to hobby) and havent been to ATL

Thank you very much. 573 is a decent for summer travel. I wasn't getting that using orbitz or delta.com. The ATL connection is what I was looking for.

Plan was to fly into ORD (or MDW if we use Southwest) on 8/31 and fly home 9/4 from either ORD or MKE.
But after I saw your post about MSY to Boston I thought about going the on 8/31 to catch a Red Sox game before going to Chicago.

I fly on American quite often so I'm a regular at DFW, real easy to fly in and out of/haven't had too many issues recently. Atlanta seems a little out of the way for headed up to Minneapolis, plus it's not my favorite. IAH is okay, pretty spread out and can be a long walk from E to the other end of C.
I think the better question is what are the types of planes to/from each of the hubs on United through IAH, American through DFW, or Delta through ATL? It's better to be comfortable for a long day than enjoy one hour in a new airport. I've found some of the A319 flights on American and United to be miserable recently, way too little legroom

So you will need a bunch of one-way tickets if you're going to include boston.
As of right now, a one-way MSY-BOS on August 31 is $97 (get there around noon or 1pm with a delta connection in NYC).
Sept 1 or 2 a one-way BOS-MKE is $102 on delta, BOS-Chicago $87 early Sept 1 on American or Southwest, $87 on Sept 2 on Southwest, $102 on American. BOS-Green Bay is $163 for the 1st or 2nd.
Sept 4 a one-way MKE-MSY is $152 on United, one-way ORD-MSY is $122 on American, $145 on United or $153 on Southwest.
So if you did MSY-BOS on Aug 31, BOS-MKE on Sept 1, gameday, then ORD-MSY on Sept 4 total would be $321

I need guidance on Louisiana (any airport)Reagan National (DC) last week in May 22- 29or30. Looking for best possible price. Not interested in Spirit or Frontier since I will have 2 kids meeting up with school trip (I'm not riding a freaking bus to DC!

Could you do the 21st of May instead of 22? If you can, May 21-29 is $203. May 22-29 is $306. Can do a roundtrip on American or do two one-ways (up on American, back on southwest, etc.)
Posted on 3/9/16 at 4:09 pm to CuseTiger
Possibly leave on the 21st. Where are you finding these flights? $203 is better than $300

Google flights link for American's nonstop cheap flights
On southwest's site type in MSY and DCA and the calendar will pop up correctly.
