What source for these fares do you use?

Well I found it for $194 for the weekend of the 17th. The 24th no luck. First link is Delta, if that doesn't work then try the google flights link.
LINK
google
ETA: Also that itinerary includes DTW in both ways, so not sure you'd want to do that

Mixture of google flights and southwest's website. Easiest way is to look at monthly calendar views first so you can find the specific dates that are cheap instead of wasting time wondering why certain days are so expensive.

What you could do is book it then on the way back do a same day change to go through MSP or ATL for maximum mileage? Medallions get same day change for free right?

Well, glad I could find something useful. Also you can hope for a schedule change (which I bet there will be between now and October) so you can change for free

I can help out with other requests if you have them, especially the LSU Syracuse game. Found some roundtrip tickets for under $300 finally
I'm starting to look more for this. Although, our trip is flying into Boston on the Thursday and then flying out of somewhere within driving range of Syracuse on Sunday.

Looking at making multiple trips from gulfport to Houston (nonstop flights only) this summer. 1-2 adults and 2 kids under 5.

Will fly from Nola if big difference in price.

$336 from GPT-IAH
$99 on Spirit, $160 on United, or $156 on Southwest for MSY-IAH.

I'd definitely stick with New Orleans in this case. Southwest also has children's fares if you call the reservations desk that they can help you with. Not sure how much of a discount it is, but every bit helps.

Probably the worst ones price wise. July 25th to Aug. 2.

International non-stop flights from New Orleans with really low rates

$248 per person non-stop from New Orleans to Cancun various dates Saturdays, Sundays, and Thursdays this summer.

$446 per person non-stop from New Orleans to Punta Cana various dates Thursday-Wednesday this summer.

Well if you could do that Friday night the 24th (5:50pm) instead of Saturday, I can get it down to $352 on American. Otherwise you're looking at $411/$420.

Cuse, all your posts do is make me wanna fly away and I can't ... other than to Nashville and I have certain definite dates and NO deals. SIGH.

Being nosey -- are you a travel agent or just a hobby? One day I'll be able to enjoy a deal you list!

Just a hobby, I've been doing this stuff since I was about 15. Everyone in my family asks me to look for hotels or flights for them at this point so I'm used to it. I figure I'd rather see everyone enjoy traveling as much as I do than be stuck in the same routine day in and day out
