What is the going rate for taping and floating new construction. Also painting new construction. Guess it figured by the square foot?

$.25-$.30 sf for tape, float and about the same for paint. Slick finish add another $.25

So, for a 1000 Sq ft home, just for example, it would be 2500 to 3000 to tape and float and then the same for paint? Would this include the exterior as well, or would that be extra?

That's typical for drywall. Or walls. Also about the same to hang it.

Most sheetrock guys I know want to hang it and tape and float. You should get that done for about .55 a board foot. So a 4x12 sheet of rock costs about 26 bucks per sheet. It does not go by the house sqft.
Interior paint prices range greatly. Low range with painter supplying paint is 2.25 living sqft of home. Upper end of custom home is $4.50. That's like stairs, better primer, stain work, etc etc etc.
