Not an expert, but in jasher cain offered inferior fruit from the ground. Not certain, but could be interpreted as offering fruit that had dropped to the ground and not the best fruit he could have offered.
Jasher isnt scripture but can show a little context in situations that generally align with scripture. Problem with jasher is they cant verify the current version is the original version referenced in Bible.

When God did not bless Cain’s offering of the literal fruits of his labor from his vineyards
I could be wrong but I’ve seen it explained as Cain did not offer sacrifice of his first, or best, fruits to the Lord.

Yes.
This is the part that tells you what’s going on. Abel brought the “fat portions” (best portions) of the firstborn (he gave to God first before he kept some for himself).
If Cain had done what was right, his gift would have been accepted. We can infer that his offering was not sufficient.
quote:
Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. 3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. 4 And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. 6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

We need a Bible board.
Too many people obsessed with interpreting a 2,000 year old novel according to today’s events.

Isogetically speaking, ie placing into the text a Christ centric interpretation, Abel’s offering was the blood of the lamb and Cain’s was the work of his hands
Meaning, prophetically speaking, God only accepts the blood offering of the lamb (Jesus) over man’s works.
This is really good, did not see that coming from

Parents never gave them enough love and attention. I’ve yet to meet anyone who comes from a loving, 2 parent family who feels the need to prostitute themselves for the admiration of strangers.
Not saying that they don’t exist, but I haven’t encountered it.

Well, he caused us not to have to build altars and kill or livestock upon them to atone for sin, but we still have to make offerings to God in various forms such as money, time, etc.
You do NOT have to give him money. Give Ceasar what is his.
Give God what is his…….your heart. That is all.

Yeah, I don’t know about that. Jesus seemed to appreciate the old widow who donated all the money she had to the temple.
