If you travel a lot it's good because of the lounge access, not just Amex lounges, but some airlines as well.

Plus the travel statement credits are good too. As is the point redemption program.

We like it. Good for travel, AMEX is always easy to deal with.

We use the Uber credits easily every month, so that combined with the airfare fees credit nearly covers the cost before you get to airport lounges and whatnot.

It’s awesome if you use the perks. If you use the Uber credits and airline credits, it’s easy to find $150 of value if you travel a few times a year. Signup bonus gets to 100k every now and then. The money board has several topics on various cards.

Chase Sapphire Reserve > Amex Plat

If you stay at the AMEX platinum benefits hotels (Ritz/Four Seasons/Mandarins/etc) you get pretty good room upgrades and usually 100 bucks beverage/dining credit per stay.
