The below depicted images are of fake one hundred dollar bills ($100) that say “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” on the front and back of the bill. These bills are being circulated throughout the Baton Rouge area, as several reports have been filed through the Baton Rouge City Police and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. LSUPD has also taken reports where early to mid-20’s aged black males are approaching people in the student union and are asking if they can make change for a $100. Once change is made, they’ve given the victim one of these fake bills and then leave. This bulletin is to make our community aware and to ask if anyone has information to please contact the LSU Police Department.

Hmmmm. Who in the Student Union routinely carries enough cash to change a $100, and WTF would you even acknowledge a mid-20's black male asking you to do so?

Had a guy come in to break a 100 into 20s, when I handed him the 5 20s, he waited til I looked away and quickly pockets 2 of the twentys and then showed me that I only gave him 3 twentys and shorted him. It was actually a pretty impressive slight of hand but I knew I didn't short him so I told him to get the frick out of my bar.

Also have a couple people that come through regularly on busy nights at the end of the night and say that we shorted them money and ask that you check your drawer to see if it's over. One of these dudes came in a couple weeks ago and I reconzied him, so I wanted to see how far he'd lie about it, he picked a bad day to come in because we were extremely dead, like 3 customers in the last 3 hours dead, and he proceeds to tell me he just came in 20-50 minutes ago, and I just laughed and told him we haven't had a customer in over an hour so you're full of shite.

Don't they film like a ton of movies in Baton Rouge? Not surprised about this.

Short change con artists are fairly common. When I worked retail as a teenager, they'd come through regularly. Got me once. Always be cautious when a stanger asks you for change.
